These terms govern your use of HamUpgrade and its website, provided by Nitrosoft®. By using them, you agree to these terms.

Exam preparation

HamUpgrade is a study aid for US amateur radio license examinations. It does not issue licenses, administer official exams, or guarantee an exam result. You are responsible for arranging your examination and meeting current FCC requirements.

Questions are based on public-domain NCVEC question pools. Pool dates and official requirements can change. Check the current pool and examination requirements before your exam. HamUpgrade is not affiliated with or endorsed by the FCC, NCVEC, Apple, or Google.

License to use the app

You may use the app for your personal study, subject to these terms and the applicable app store terms. Do not interfere with the app or website, attempt unauthorized access, or abuse the support form. Public-domain question content retains its public-domain status.

Purchases and refunds

Any paid unlock is a one-time in-app purchase at the price shown by your app store before purchase. Apple or Google handles payments and applicable taxes. Refunds follow the policies of the store where you purchased. Restoring a purchase requires the same store account and supported platform; a purchase on one store does not automatically transfer to another.

Your device and progress

Study progress is stored on your device. Keep any backups supported by your device. We cannot guarantee recovery of progress after app removal, device loss, or storage reset.

Availability and responsibility

We work to provide useful, accurate study material, but the app and website are provided as available, without guarantees of uninterrupted service or error-free content. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Nitrosoft® is not liable for indirect losses from their use. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes

We may update the app, website, and these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date above. Your mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
